Van Brooks Facilitator
Van facilitates the MASTERY of Self Expression, in Austin Texas.

Van Brooks has been an actor / teacher / director / writer / photographer
for the past 36 years. He was formerly the General Manager of the
Actor's Institute in New York (where he trained with the founder
of the Institute and the creator of the MASTERY, Dan Fauci).
Van has also worked as Artistic Director of the Seattle Actor's Lab,
and has taught classes and led workshops in New York, Seattle,
Boston, Chicago, Toronto, Dallas, Houston, and Austin. He has
worked with some of the best in the business, including
Academy Award winners Joel and Ethan Coen, Frances McDormand,
and Marissa Tomei; Golden Globe, Emmy, Tony, and Obie winner
Mary-Louise Parker; and such diverse talent as Rip Torn,
Kelly Lynch, Alan Rudolph, Willie Nelson, Lou Diamond Phillips,
Christopher Durang, and many more.
Van teaches in Austin now, where he has his own place, Two Chairs
Studio. He teaches ongoing classes and leads the MASTERY six times
a year. He also hosts Dan Fauci, who comes out twice a year for
other programs (including the MASTERY Leadership workshop, The Abyss,
and audition workshops).
Hundreds of people have taken the MASTERY in the last seven years, and
